Back on the Farm again!

 

I did my time in the big city. It was a blast, but time to come home and put down my roots. You can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl! Got my kids to think about and I really needed to feel the wind blowing through my hair and hitting my face at a full gallop with the reins in my hand and feet in the stirrups! Just gotta get my horse back now!

It's been long enough now and I'm ready to start dating. I know what I'm looking for, but good honest hard working country boys are few and far between now a days! I had one in my sights, but I messed it up and ran him off. Being the over analytical type I decided to try and pin point what I did wrong. I did a web search on understanding guys and it really didn't tell me anything I didn't already know:

• Guys  are not in touch with emotions and run like a kid  from the boogie man when they experience an emotion!
• Guys don't dig needy
• Guys can hop in the sac without  having any feelings of attachment

Chicks on the other hand:

• Are creatures of emotion
• Over analyze everything
•  Are needy
• Do not understand men!

Then you have to take into account the country girl! Couldn't find much (really didn't look, got impatient)

• Are still creatures of emotion, BUT at times hide it better
• Still over analyze, BUT can blow things off easier
• Doesn't completely understand men, BUT knows the importance of fishing and hunting season
• Can be needy in some aspects,BUT maintains a "I can do it just as good as you, if not better" attitude
• Knows how to dig her heels in (as in stubborn)
• Is more afraid of getting too comfortable with being alone then actually being alone 

I got calluses on my hands and I run barefoot through the yard. I like going spotting for deer. I can hold my own and stand on my own two feet. I'd just like someone to stand beside me and maybe from time to time hold my hand.
